Professor (h.c.) Olivier Védrine
Olivier Védrine is President of the Continental European Union Club in Kiev, Ukraine.
He got his Bachelor degree in an American university in France, later an International Executive MBA degree at the International School of Management (ISM) in Paris.
He is Auditor of the Institute of National Higher Defence Studies (Auditeur de l’IHEDN), France.
He did executive seminars by the College of Europe at the European Commission in Brussels, Belgium.
He is an academic teacher, researcher (Associate researcher for the University of Québec in Montréal), conference speaker – lecturer on behalf of the European Commission (in the experts’ network Team Europe France) from 2007 to 2014. He also works as a journalist, not only in European blogs but he was also Chief Editor of the Russian edition of the “Revue Défense Nationale“ (2010-2014), France. He ended this Russian edition at the beginning of 2014 to protest against the annexation of Crimea.
Associate researcher at the University of Quebec in Montreal (UQAM), Canada. He was visiting lecturer at some universities in France, Ukraine, Russia, Germany, Poland, Canada,Taiwan, Italy, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Estonia, Belgium, United Kingdom, Romania, Netherlands, Georgia, Portugal.
He is an expert member of the National Union of the Political Scientists and member of the Editorial Advisory Board of “Questions of political science”, Russia.
In June 2015, he became a member of the Expert Board, Center for Army, Conversion and Disarmament Studies (CACDS), Ukraine.
Since July 2015, he is co-anchor in a new analytical talk-show UA Tea Time on ‘First Ukraine’ firstua.com/en/ international satellite TV Channel launched by National Television Company of Ukraine on 1 September 2012 available in more than 30 countries all over the world.
