One of the chairmen of the Social Liberal Party of Kazakhstan “Zhusan”. Kazakh opposition leader and former political prisoner. He began his opposition activity in the early 2000s in the first ranks of the united Kazakh opposition DVK (Democratic Choice of Kazakhstan). He was a member of the central council of the united organisation of opposition forces KYC (For Fair Kazakhstan). During presidential and parliamentary elections in 2005 and 2007, he headed the headquarters of the Kazakh political opposition.
From 2009 to 2010 as a head of an independent trade union; organized several labor strikes with workers of “Aktobemunaigas”.
In June of 2016 Aidos Sadykov was among organizers of nationwide anti-government protests. At the moment, he is the co-chairman of Kazakhstan’s opposition party “Zhusan”, which stands for the democratic reforms in Kazakhstan.
